On October 15, 2021, Cindy suffered from a massive stroke while at home with her daughter, Candace. After emergency brain surgery, she was in a coma for nearly 2 weeks and which resulted in Left Hemiplegia - better known as left side paralysis. Since the stroke, Cindy has been unable to work and does not qualify for Medicaid. Her family has had to continue to fight for disability to assist with the mounting medical bills. Cindy will require a specialized to help her while she continues to rehabilitate.
